2015 Volunteer of the Year: Gary Mills
Recognized for 15 years of volunteer work with the borough rec committee: performing field maintenance, field scheduling, chairing the rec committee and the summer rec program, coaching youth soccer, basketball, & baseball, and mentoring high school students to learn how to ref.
Gary was also honored by having Field #3 at Union Forge Park named: “Mill’s Field”

The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes an individual who makes a major contribution to the Borough by consistently and continually volunteering his or her time and effort to the Borough in a given year.
2014 – The High Bridge Women’s Group – Recognized for ongoing community service since 1979.
2013 – “I’m for High Bridge” Committee – Recognized for ongoing efforts since 1975 to make High Bridge a better place to live.
2011 – Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) – As a newly formed group, the CERT team jumped right into action during a year plagued with emergencies.
2010 – Summer Recreation Organizers: Lisa Buckley, Maureen Bukowski, Carl Kazenberger, and Gary Mills.
