The Borough of High Bridge is honoring the memory and legacy of former President George H. W. Bush.
President Bush helped highlight the importance o volunteerism while he served as president. His famous speech where he referenced the “thousand points of light” was a representation of the spirit of volunteerism in America.
“High Bridge is a community committed to volunteering. Our town is a special place because of the people and many volunteers to help make it special. President Bush was a patriot and he set an incredible example for all Americans. It is fitting for our Borough to honor his memory,” said Mayor Mark Desire.
