Doris Schuetz receives the
2019 High Bridge Mayor and Council Longevity Award
Doris Schuetz was born on August 28, 1921 and has lived her whole life in High Bridge: born on North Main St, grew up on Church Street and then once married moved to New Street where she continues to live.
Doris was a well-known quality seamstress and dressmaker serving borough residents and the surrounding community. Doris is a longtime member of the High Bridge Reformed Church which she joined when she was twelve years old. Doris has been a member of various borough volunteer groups and continues to be an active member in the Eastern Star for 67 years. Doris will be turning 98 years old this August! On behalf of the Borough, the Mayor and Council wish to thank Doris Schuetz for making High Bridge her lifelong home.
