On Friday, June 7, 2019, a water main break occurred on Sylvan Road. The Borough DPW was notified and completed the repair within hours.

Because of the extent of the break in the line, water service had to be temporarily interrupted. The Borough followed NJDEP guidelines, and issued a boil water advisory to the impacted properties by hand-delivering a letter outlining the procedures to be followed.
The Borough will provide updates when the results of water testing have been received that indicate that all is clear for consumption.
