The boil water advisory is lifted effective immediately.
THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY IS LIFTED and it is no longer necessary to boil your water before using. The following measure is strongly encouraged at this time:
- Run your water faucets for 3-5 minutes to flush your service connection and interior plumbing with water from the service main.
The Borough received the results from the water test samples taken after the water main break which has been repaired.
We are pleased to report that the test results indicate that the water is safe for consumption. The Borough has followed NJDEP procedures that include notifying them throughout this process. Water main break repair in progress – 01/21/2020
The Borough is aware of a water main break between Dennis Ave. and Arch St. affecting Borough residents. The Department of Public Works is in the process of repairing the break.
Residents or businesses may experience a reduction in water pressure until repairs are completed.
This notification is part of the procedures the Borough follows to ensure compliance with requirements of the NJDEP. There is no boil water alert at this time.
