The Borough of High Bridge is participating in the Hunterdon Area Energy Cooperative’s community energy aggregation program.  The program offers Borough residents a lower rate for their electricity supply, $0.0867/kWh, than what they’re currently paying for supply through the state’s default Basic Generation Service, $0.094864/kWh as of December 2020, and is scheduled to begin on March 1, 2021.  Residents also have the opportunity to select 100% renewable energy supply at a rate of $0.0878/kWh.  If you have not already selected your own third party supplier, do not have a net meter for solar panels, or a time-of-day meter, you will receive an information packet about the program in the first week of January 2021.  The information packet and an informational video will also be posted on the HAEC’s web page at www.njaggregation.us/HAEC.

Unfortunately, due to indoor gathering restrictions we are unable to host in-person presentations about the program; however, several webinars have been scheduled and a complete listing of those dates and times can also be found on the HAEC’s web page.  If you would like to learn more about the HAEC’s energy aggregation program, please call the program’s customer care team at 866-688-5197.
