LEGAL NOTICE
BOROUGH OF HIGH BRIDGE 

TAKE NOTICE that the Borough of High Bridge, in the County of Hunterdon, New Jersey has filed a request with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Green Acres Program, proposing a change in use for a portion of parkland owned by the Borough of High Bridge, located in the Borough of High Bridge, Township of Lebanon and the Township of Clinton and known as the High Bridge Hills Golf Course. The High Bridge Hills Golf Course is located at 203 Cregar Road, High Bridge, New Jersey in the County of Hunterdon and identified on the tax maps of the Borough of High Bridge as Block 20, Lots 1 and 1.01, on the tax maps of the Township of Clinton as Block 66, Lot 15, and on the tax maps of the Township of Lebanon as Block 1, Lot 2.  The proposed change is to (i) renovate the barn and clubhouse located at the High Bridge Hills Golf Course and (ii) construct a new building of approximately 4,000 sf at the High Bridge Hills Golf Course for the storage, maintenance and repair of golf carts, maintenance equipment and related vehicles. The High Bridge Hills Golf Course consists of 141.28 acres, with 93.40 acres located in the Borough of High Bridge, 46.83 acres located in the Township of Clinton and 1.05 acres located in the Township of Lebanon, and is subject to Green Acres restrictions. The Green Acres restrictions on the parkland will remain in place in perpetuity. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7-36-25.6, a hearing to obtain public comment on this request will be held at the High Bridge Fire House, 7 Maryland Avenue, High Bridge, New Jersey on October 27, 2021 at 7:30 pm. Any member of the public may have the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing subject to any applicable Borough ordinances and Council regulations.  Written comments on the change in use request may be submitted to Bonnie Fleming, Borough Administrator at bfleming@highbridge.org during the public comment period following the public hearing which shall end on November 10, 2021. Please send a copy of any comments submitted on this request to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Green Acres Program, Bureau of Legal Services and Stewardship PO Box 420, Trenton, NJ 08625. Public Comment on this change in use will be accepted during the public hearing on October 27, 2021 or until November 10, 2021. On or after January 25, 2022, the Borough of High Bridge may take formal action to approve the proposed change in use of the parkland.

 

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Borough of High Bridge

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Borough of High Bridge is proposing to change the purpose or use of the TISCO building and lands, commonly known as the TISCO and Shop E Area on the property at Block 4.06, Lot 34 in the Borough of High Bridge from unimproved open space to a multi-use outdoor space to be known as the TISCO Grounds for Arts.  The proposed use will utilize approximately 2.5 acres of the TISCO and Shop E grounds for a scalable community project partitioned into three phases of planning and assembly to create a multi-use outdoor space that weaves together cultural, historical and ecological interests, assets and activities.

Pursuant to NJAC 7:36-25.6 a public hearing to obtain public comment on the proposed change in purpose or use will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. at the Borough Fire House, 7 Maryland Avenue, 2nd floor, High Bridge, New Jersey.  All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in the hearing.  In the alternative, written comments on the proposed change in purpose or use may be submitted to:
