ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2022-1

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER MANDATING MASK WEARING IN ALL BOROUGH OWNED BUILDINGS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 6, 2022.

WHEREAS, Coronavirus disease 2019 (“COVID-19”) is a contagious, and at times fatal, respiratory disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus; and

WHEREAS, COVID-19 presents a serious health threat to the residents of High Bridge; and

WHEREAS, the Borough of High Bridge and the County of Hunterdon are currently experiencing a dramatic rise in cases due to the widespread transmission of the Omicron strain of COVID-19; and

WHEREAS the Center for Disease Control (CDC) is advising the use of face coverings to slow the speed of the virus and help prevent spreading of the disease from those who are not aware they are infected to others, while reducing the burden on the health care system;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, mandatory wearing of face masks in all Borough owned buildings shall take effect immediately.
