BOROUGH ELECTRONICS AND METAL RECYCLING

The Environmental Commission will not be holding the yearly recycling event this year. Please take advantage of the recycling opportunities available at the DPW garage.

Ongoing Recycling Drop Off At DPW

Electronics recycling and metal recycling materials are accepted at the Department of Public Works, 26 West Main Street, Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2p.m.

Saturday, July 1st Electronics Drop Off at DPW

Electronics and metal recycling will be accepted on July 1st from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the DPW yard as well.

Receptacle Location

As you enter through the gate the receptacles are on the left.

The following items will be accepted at these events:

Electronics –

  • CRTs
  • Computers
  • Laptops
  • Monitors
  • Printers / Scanners / Fax machines
  • Televisions
  • Cell phones and tablets

Metal Recycling –

  • White goods
  • Household appliances

NOTE: Please do not place garbage into the dumpsters. It will not be accepted and will need to be sorted out.
