Please be advised that the Borough has awarded a contract to Penn Bower Inc. of High Bridge, NJ to
construct a new water main on Hart Street, Union Avenue & Central Avenue (between Bridge Street

Town Hall Meeting – Potential Transit Village Designation – Sep. 12
The Borough of High Bridge is seeking designation as a Transit Village from the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Attend this town hall meeting to understand what a Transit Village is, the application process, and the benefits of becoming a designated Transit Village. The meeting will be held at the Fire House, 7 Maryland Ave., High Bridge, New Jersey on September 12, 2023 starting at 6:30 p.m.. No formal action will be taken.

Annual Assessment Inspector
The Borough has appointed a new Annual Assessment Inspector, Mark Brong. The Annual Assessment Inspector is appointed to serve as an inspector to assist the Tax Assessor to further the reassessment program. The inspector will have a Borough issued photo identification card for confirmation of their official Borough business.

Arbor Day 2023 Dedication
Arbor Day, April 29, 2023: Mayor Lee leads the dedication of a Norway Spruce tree planted by High Bridge DPW in Borough Commons for future Holiday Events. “Pennies for Planting” funds collected by High Bridge Elementary and Middle School students helped finance the project along with a donation from the Country Garden Club to commemorate Arbor Day in High Bridge.
