River Road Water Main Extension Project

Work will begin on the River Road Water Main Extension Project on or about, Wednesday, March 3, weather permitting.
The project will include replacement of a section of the water main located on Washington Avenue between Tisco Avenue and Wilson Avenue, and continuing along River Road between Wilson Avenue and Watergate Drive.

Hunterdon County Health Department Announces Limited Vaccination Appointments Available on County Website

Every Wednesday

The Health Department COVID-19 clinic is available only to those who live work in Hunterdon County. Proof of residency or in-county employment is required.

Vaccinations are open only to eligible individuals: those age 65 and over, younger persons with certain health conditions, healthcare workers and first responders.

Individuals without internet access can call the Health Department hotline (908) 237-4238 starting at 10 am on January 27th.

Pre-registration for Covid-19 Vaccine Available

Governor Murphy has announced that the website to pre-register for the vaccine is live. The website will permit the general public to pre-register for eligibility, and allow them to input their personal, contact, health insurance, and demographic information. It will also allow for individuals to schedule an appointment for those who are immediately eligible based on screening questions. During peak times, there may be capacity issues that result in a message to try later.

Hunterdon Area Energy Cooperative (HAEC) Program Announcement

The Borough of High Bridge is participating in the Hunterdon Area Energy Cooperative’s community energy aggregation program.  The program offers Borough residents a lower rate for their electricity supply, $0.0867/kWh, than what they’re currently paying for supply through the state’s default Basic Generation Service, $0.094864/kWh as of December 2020, and is scheduled to begin on March 1, 2021.  Residents also have the opportunity to select 100% renewable energy supply at a rate of $0.0878/kWh.  If you have not already selected […]

Snow Parking

In preparation for snow season, please remember there is no parking on either side of any street when the road is snow covered, until the snow has ceased, and the streets have been plowed.
Vehicles may park in the Commons Parking Lot, if parking spaces are available, for the duration of the snow event and shall be removed within 36 hours from the end of the event.
