High Bridge, NJ – The Borough of High Bridge was awarded a $20,000 Sustainable Jersey grant funded by the PSEG Foundation. Four $20,000 grants, eight $10,000 grants and twenty $2,000 grants were distributed to municipalities in fourteen New Jersey counties.

Pre-registration for Covid-19 Vaccine Available
Governor Murphy has announced that the website to pre-register for the vaccine is live. The website will permit the general public to pre-register for eligibility, and allow them to input their personal, contact, health insurance, and demographic information. It will also allow for individuals to schedule an appointment for those who are immediately eligible based on screening questions. During peak times, there may be capacity issues that result in a message to try later.
Hunterdon Area Energy Cooperative (HAEC) Program Announcement
The Borough of High Bridge is participating in the Hunterdon Area Energy Cooperative’s community energy aggregation program. The program offers Borough residents a lower rate for their electricity supply, $0.0867/kWh, than what they’re currently paying for supply through the state’s default Basic Generation Service, $0.094864/kWh as of December 2020, and is scheduled to begin on March 1, 2021.
